The Amsterdam-based Dutch/Caribbean band Rootsriders were formed to commemorate Bob Marley’s 25th anniversary of his passing and over the years the group has become not only a fixture on the Dutch live circuit but performed all throughout the world, from the Caribbean to Istanbul and from New York to Johannesburg, where they had the honor to perform during the FIFA 2010 World Cup finals halftime show for over 100.000 people. Former The Voice sensation Mitchell Brunings who’s blind audition of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song went viral world-wide has been a Rootsriders member for years.
