Popa Chubby’s concert on November 24, 2025, has been canceled.

Please find below the artist’s official statement:

“It is with great sadness that I must take an indefinite break from touring, but I’m not ready to throw in the towel. I’ve been on the road for 35 years, and I hope to return someday, but I need to let my body heal first.

I underwent surgery on August 8, which brought some relief, but further procedures will likely be necessary, and there is currently no timeline for my return. Right now, I need to recover, as my nerves are far more damaged than when I tried to come back earlier this year. I probably tried to return too soon, and I blame no one but myself. I was also in a car accident about six weeks ago, which worsened my back problems.

At this time, I’m unable to tour, and I cannot predict what the future holds. There is severe nerve damage in my spine that may or may not heal. I’m considering stem cell treatments in the coming months, which may help me, but it will still take time before I can think about being back on stage.

I thank you all for your understanding, and I hope to see you again on the road—sooner rather than later.
