CARMEN CONSOLI
« AMURI LUCI » IN PARIS
9 May Carmen Consoli at the Olympia
On 9 May, Carmen Consoli will be back in Paris for a special event of her “Amuri Luci” tour. The venue, the Olympia, is very evocative and really beloved by the artist. Founded at the end of the 19th century, the theatre hosted some of the world’s music legends (from Édith Piaf to the Beatles, from the Rolling Stones to Joséphine Baker), becoming a pantheon among music halls. Its intimate atmosphere transforms every concert into an experience of rare intensity.
After a 2025 of clear acclaim in Italy, with a sold-out theatre tour and loyalty to her themes and roots, Carmen is writing a new chapter of this project, in which the Olympia will give the opportunity to perform like never before for a cosmopolitan audience, striking the chords of a strong Sicilian, Italian and Mediterranean identity.
The set list is a compact musical journey, conceived as a single tale divided into two parts. The first part follows the track list of the album ‘Amuri Luci’, the eleven songs performed without interruption, like a sound fresco taking shape in front of the audience. The artist will stay in the centre, playing her guitar and singing with her raw and powerful voice, while the band builds a musical landscape around her through strings, percussion and Mediterranean echoes. So, alongside Carmen on stage will be Massimo Roccaforte on guitar and mandolin, Puccio Panettieri on drums, Marco Siniscalco on bass and double bass, Valentina Ferraiuolo on frame drum and percussion, Adriano Murania on violin, and Gemino Calà on ethnic flutes. Behind them, video projections (pictorial images, war scenes, current events, Mediterranean landscapes) will accompany the lyrics, resulting in a show that is not only a concert, but a visual and auditory tale with a strong emotional impact.
The second part of the show is centred on Carmen’s repertoire played with a new freedom: some songs will be performed in more intimate versions, while others will gain energy thanks to new garage arrangements. The artist will reconnect her thirty-year career to this creative present, tracing a continuity that is not only musical, but cultural and emotional too.
“Amuri Luci” on stage confirms what the album already promised: a journey from the depths of Sicilian and Mediterranean roots to collective and universal dimensions.
